[Here's Hilbert with a blank stare at the camera. My, that is normal... You might just check if the camera is even on, since he doesn't move for a while.

He finally opens his mouth and says:]

This place can be so depressing.

... then he bursts into laughter, bumping his head on the desk as he jerks around happily. He groans, rubbing his head.]

[O-okay. Hilbert seems almost 100% prepared as soon as the video starts.

... The thought is diminishing with doubt. Biting his lip in that normally uncertain manner, he spins in his chair in a moment of thought--OH, yeah, shouldn't keep you waiting.]

Have I not been here long enough to not think this is weird, but is everyone around here suddenly dropping like flies?

This place seems less and less nice as the days go by.

-... give Hilbert a hug? Well gee, sure! Of course, that totally is PHYSICALLY CONTACT and he would be curious why you would do such a thing at random. He gets embarrassed easily. It's especially hard for him to take calmly if you're a female or someone he's interested in! Oh boy, his nerves.
-... kiss HIbert? Ehh, go for it. Just be ready for chaos, because that's is the ultimate move to make Hilbert blow up. He's Mr. Naive and Innocent, so it would be a huge shock to him. But hey, maybe you have a good relationship with him already? He could respond with the same move!
-... punch/harm Hilbert? Of course! Okay, that's kinda weird for me to IMMEDIATELY AGREE TO, but hey... I friggin' love crap happening. Especially fights. Just hit me up with a message saying "hey, I want this guy to punch Hilbert" if you want... OR JUST DO IT AT RANDOM. I would love that ahhh. But yeah, it's totally fine. He will likely punch you back, but oh well.
-... kill Hilbert? Whoooa, that's like... a big no-no. At least it's not too bad for Vatheon, he died once already. He already has a pretty bad fear of death now, so expect him to defend himself if you try anything fishy. Just gimme a general plot-like-blob-of-sentences whyyyy... WHY would you want to kill poor HIlbert. Let those creative juices flow, my friends.

Really disturbed. He's at a loss of words, biting his lip. Looking left. Looking right... Hilbert finally faces the camera again.]

One of those dinosaurs took my hat. [His voice suddenly dies. ;; Such a tragedy.]

[ Canon Point ] : Immediately after being confronted by N in Nimbasa City and his shocking secret.

[ History ] : Hilbert grew up with a decent lifestyle, but just as complex of any other child. His childhood consisted only of the memories of his mother, who seemed very desperate to focus on her only son. As they barely saw the traveling husband and father, the two looked at each other in the greatest need of comfort. The warmth and innocence of his mother’s words would eventually slip to the deepest corners of his mind. Again, like any other child, Hilbert grew up. As it is tradition for the child to travel the world as a Pokemon trainer, his mother finally learned to let go.

With both friends Cheren and Bianca by his side, Hilbert was ready to challenge the world by storm. The introduction of Team Plasma came as a startling change to his planned course. After various battles and interruptions to their plans, Hilbert eventually was identified as a threat.

He did not think much of his newest acquaintance, N, other than being interested in his complex ideals. Hilbert’s first visit to Nimbasa City would quickly change their relationship. Stumbling upon N at the amusement park, N revealed his role with Team Plasma in one fateful ferris wheel ride. Hilbert watched N leave after their battle with a feel of deep bitterness and regret.

[ Personality ] : Hilbert is an awfully easy-going guy. He’s friendly and quite open to strangers, but may be oblivious to the intentions of others. He doesn’t mind the idea of being used or throwing himself into danger, as long as it is by someone he generally cares for. If the other individual is happy, he is happy!

That does not mean Hilbert is the Welcome mat for the world to clean their feet on. He has his own ambitions and feelings on personal manners. One of the more strange situations he approaches is the importance of hygiene. He takes on many characteristics of a mother, which is something he is regularly teased about.

He generally stays on the positive side of issues, just as this may be the friendly and peaceful influence of his own mother. It may be something he believes morally, but it may also be something to be quietly stubborn about. He especially dislikes being told that can’t do something, it will only rile him up for the challenge even more. The times could be grim and hopeless, but he sticks with the philosophy: “Everything always works out. Somehow.”

[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Strengths:
+He easily connects with his team of Pokemon.
+Determined.

Weaknesses:
+Easily influenced by others.
+Has trouble determining whether he should be serious or remain light-hearted at various points.

[ Sample ] : Hilbert was left with an oddly sick feeling in his stomach. N’s words stirred around in the air almost like cancerous smoke. The description was much more odd than the feeling, but Hilbert couldn’t help but exaggerate when dealing with friends. Well, who at least thought was a friend.

He was tired.

“That’s it, I’m tired!” He blurted out loud. Lightly patting his cheeks, he tried to smack away all of his concern. The sun’s beam was just as helpful, peering through the shady tree and at the young trainer. As his mother would say, ‘take a step outside when you’re not feeling so high spirited. Look up and tell me what you see.’

He laughed and quietly hoped no one heard such an embarrassing thought. It’s almost a coincidence when his Panpour suddenly fell from the tree above and landed on his lap.

“W-wah! … Yeesh, buddy. How long have you been up there!?” He exclaimed, yet is unable to hide his smile. The company of his Pokemon was a definite mood booster. Panpour only squinted his eyes and shrugged. Hoping to match with such a carefree mood, the trainer pinched the creature’s cheeks and filled the awkward air with laughter.

Then there is a sharp ping in his head-- His thoughts of N have returned. Dark eyes heavy with disappointment, his smile appeared weak. Yet the furrowing of his brows are somewhat stubborn, but proud and determined.

“No worries. No worries AT ALL! I’ll convince him back to our side! I won’t lose that battle!”
